Outreach is the essence of putting faith into action—looking beyond ourselves, reaching out to those around us, and demonstrating God’s love in palpable ways. As Catholics, each of us is asked to carry our own cross, to follow Christ and to serve others.
It has always been a mission of SLRAA to assist the needy and less fortunate with the belief that serving others is the same as serving Christ. The organization has provided relief to a multitude of individuals, families, and communities through several outreach and service programs:
Humanitarian Aid
Humanitarian aid initiatives of SLRAA address the hardships faced by the unfortunate—including hunger, poverty, displacement and natural disaster.
Social & Faith Outreach
Through social and faith outreach programs SLRAA strives to improve the well-being of communities with a focus on helping the poor and spreading the Word.
Charitable Giving
SLRAA adheres to the Catholic belief that charity is the greatest social commandment as it helps build a more just and humane society.
