Become an Hermano/Hermana Mayor

Suggested Functions and Responsibilities of the Hermano and Hermana Mayor

  1. The Hermano/Hermana Mayor chosen for one year term which starts on the day they are officially invested during the Feast day celebration of Poon Hesus Nazareno, San Lorenzo Ruiz and San Pedro Calungsod.
  2. They set out the plan of activities to make the celebration successful and coordinate the plan for approval to the National Director of SLRAA or its designee.
  3. They must actively involve the local community where the celebration will take place e.g. choir, attendance and fellowship.
  4. They will coordinate the 9 Days Novena / Novena Mass in honor of feast day held at the San Lorenzo Ruiz & Scalabrini Center and is required to be present during the Novena.
  5. They are required to help and guide the incoming Hermano/Hermana Mayor.
  6. They will work closely with the SLRAA board in the fund raising activities to support the programs and on-going projects of the SLRAA.
  7. After their term, they must continue to pray and propagate the devotions and support the humanitarian and religious activities/projects of SLRAA.
