Tour the Center

The San Lorenzo Ruiz & Scalabrini Center is more than just the headquarters of SLRAA, Inc. It is a multi-use facility that serves the religious and social needs of the faithful and the community.

The Center's main function is to be a house of prayer and to provide a spiritual sanctuary where devotees of the Filipino saints, Mother Mary and our Lord Jesus can congregate and worship together. Special masses, services and novenas are held throughout the year in the Chapel, which prominently displays devotions to San Lorenzo Ruiz, San Pedro Calungsod and Our Lady of Manaoag. Devotional prayer gatherings are commonly observed in the Chapel as well. More intimate and personal moments of reflection can be observed in the Prayer Room, which houses statues of San Lorenzo Ruiz, Poon Hesus Nazareno, the Virgin of Antipolo, and the Seven Archangels; along with the Heart of Jesus and the Stations of the Cross.

Scalabrini Hall is a general-purpose space. It is the large room that one encounters upon entering the Center and adjoins the Chapel and Prayer Room. It is often used to accommodate overflow from the chapel during masses and novenas. It can be used as a communal area where groups of individuals can host any sort of small to mid-size gathering. For example, it has been used to collect and box medicines for medical missions to the Philippines--one of the many humanitarian endeavors that SLRAA provides assistance for. Adorning the walls of this room are sculptures and plaques that give special recognition to those who have generously supported SLRAA. Of particular significance is The Giving Tree. Scalabrini Hall also has an organ which can be used during mass and celebrations.

Father Bobby Sison Hall, in the basement of the building, is an even larger space that can be used for a variety of religious and social purposes. Able to hold around 100 people; the room has been used for civic organization meetings and symposiums, dinners, parties and other social gatherings. There is an on-site kitchen and recently renovated men and women bathrooms. The Center provides tables, chairs, chafing dishes and other needs for your convenience.

When the weather is accommodating, the Center also has outdoor space that can be used for meetings and functions.
