Attend Religious Events and Observances

Devotees of San Lorenzo Ruiz are encouraged to attend and participate in the numerous Eucharistic masses, holy day observances and fiesta celebrations that are recognized throughout the year at the San Lorenzo Ruiz & Scalabrini Center as well as other places of worship. Prayer gatherings and novenas are typically held in preparation for solemn feast days or in petition for some special grace. All are welcome.

SLRAA Fiestas

SLRAA celebrates four major Fiipino religious fiestas that honor the Black Nazarene (Poon Hesus Nazareno) in January, San Pedro Calungsod (the First Martyr from Cebu and second Filipino Saint) in April, Mother of the Most Holy Rosary (Our Lady of Manaoag) in May, and San Lorenzo Ruiz (the First Filipino Saint) in September.

Other Fiestas

SLRAA devotees are encouraged to attend fiestas sponsored by other devotional groups. SLRAA is affiliated with similar organizations that honor our religious heritage throughout the Tri-State area and beyond, even in the Philippines. There is no better way to celebrate one's faith than in the company of others.
